The first Erasmus + mobility takes place in Norwich, which is an
attractive location for an English teacher trainer like me and for any tourist as well.
Norwich,
situated on the River Wensum in East Anglia, has a population of over 140,000.
It is the county town of Norfolk. From the Middle Ages until the Industrial
Revolution, Norwich was the second largest city in England.
Norwich is a charming city combining medieval architecture with modern shopping and entertainment facilities.
Among the
many things you can do in Norwich, you can:
- visit Norwich castle and its
museum
- visit Norwich cathedrals and churches
- eat at Norwich market (one
of the largest and oldest open-air markets in the UK, voted the best
market in the country in 2019)
- explore the city centre,
admiring unique architecture with flint-stone covered walls
- walk along the river Wensum
- visit the South Asia Collection museum and shop, housed in a restored Victorian roller skating
rink
- relax or jog in one of
Norwich parks
- attend a cinema of theatre
performance
- visit University of East
Anglia campus
- explore numerous pubs (the
oldest – Adam and Eve – dating from the mid-13th century)
- take trips to Cambridge,
seaside towns or the nearby Broads National Park (boat trips)
If you wish, you can access a folder that I have created with the resources from the course on "Learning Differences and Inclusion".
